Hey Husker Heads,

Development of Husker's content expansion is continuing. I have had a lot of fun in this phase of development where I'm adding new ideas and I'm not having to fix any bugs yet. One room was revealed to me in a dream..? Nightmare..? You'll find out soon enough.

That being said, I've also had to simmer the scope of the expansion. I've always believed that creatives should make smaller things more frequently and I've already spent more time on this expansion then I did on Husker's base game! If I ever needed a reminder to stick to this philosphy, my new game, 'To Boil', which I made in 48 hours, has outperformed Husker already!

If you haven't seen yet, you can play To Boil on my itch page, it's another surreal exploration game and features some of the quality changes you should expect to see in the upcoming expansion for Husker. I made the game in my university building for The Global Game Jam and I had A LOT of fun. It was my first ever game jam! I will be doing another one in Feburary so look out for that next month!

Before I sign off, I do think that it is important, especially now, to highlight here how much queer culture means to me. I understand that this devlog won't be seen by many people but no matter how much attention my games get, I will always have myself and the things I create be a space for anyone. Stay safe friends, there will always be support for your lives and happiness no matter what.
